【For Members】 About application update Notice

*All dates and time below are in Japan Standard Time.

Due to the launch of “Ticketless boarding service using QR code (*)”, “Ticketless boarding service for multiple passengers” and “Reserved seat reservation service (including changes) in case of delay in train”, the “smartEX App” and “Express Ride App” are scheduled to be updated on Saturday, March 6, 2021.

You will not be able to use the previous version of the “smartEX App” and “Express Ride App” after Saturday, March 6.
To use the App after Saturday, March 6, please make sure to update the App when an update guidance dialogue is displayed at a startup of the App.

If the latest version of the App is not reflected in the App store, please wait for a while and try again.

*Please login from the website if you cannot update the App.
*New version of the App can be installed on iOS 13, which is different from the current version of the App. For iPhone users, please confirm that your system version is iOS 13 or later before the update (System version can be confirmed from “Setting > General > About” of your iPhone). There will be no change to Android OS even after the update.
*The date of update is subject to change without notice.
