Partial revision of agreements due to the launch of online service Important

Thank you for using Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen Internet Reservation Service.

In addition to the App service, online reservation (web service) will be available from March 21, 2020. Due to the addition of functions below, "Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen Internet Reservation Service Mambership Agreement", "Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen Internet Reservation Service Privacy Policy" and the Supplements will be revised.
*If you are using the App or online service after March 21, 2020, you must agree to the revised agreements before using the service.

【Main revision content】

■Changes in the ticket pick up process
Until March 20, 2020, tickets can be picked up with credit cards, but from March 21, 2020, the "pickup code" ("QR code" or "16 alphanumeric number") is required to pick up your tickets.

■Pre-sale and after-hours reservation requests
・With pre-sale reservation request, a request for the reservation can be made one week prior to the date tickets go on sale (1 month before the boarding date).
・After-hours reservation request can be made during after-hours (between 11:30 pm and 5:30 am the following day).

■Email service
We will start the delivery of emails, such as confirmation mails and the notices of one-time password that is required to issue pickup code. The members that wish to receive an information mail (about new services, discounted fares and etc.) must register from "Change/Cancel Membership Info" after March 21, 2020.

For all revision, please see the attachment below.

・Members that have registered for the membership by March 20 can also use the website after March 21. The revised agreement must be confirmed and agreed before using the service.
・If members are using the App, they must also confirm and agree to the App service agreement.
・After March 21, the one-time password is required to issue the pickup code or change membership info. The one-time password will be sent to your registered email address(es). When an email cannot be sent to your email address, these service will be unavailable for use. Please check your registered email address by March 20, 2020.
*If you are using a different device from the one you registered for the membership, you cannot see or change Mambership info, such as email address. Please use the device that you used to register, or re-register by the device that you are using now.
・This service is different from the "smartEX" service that are available in Japan. After March 21, please be careful when using the onlne service (web service).
