Notice regarding change in "how to pick up tickets"
Thank you for using Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen Internet Reservation Service.
From March 21, 2020, there will be a change in the ticket pick up process.
*There are no changes to the process of making/changing reservations and the places where tickets can be picked up.
■ What you will need to pick up tickets
■ About the "pick-up code"
・The pick-up code is a QR code or 16 digits number which is required for picking up tickets from the ticket vending machine or the ticket booth at JR Central or JR West stations.
・It can be issued after March 21, 2020.
・It is valid for 31 days. *When the new pick-up code is issued, the one issued before will become invalid.
・Before picking up tickets, please print your pick-up code or save the screen by taking a screenshot. *Keep your pick-up code safe.
・Hold the QR code over the QR code reader of the ticket vending machine. *If your QR code cannnot be read, enter the pick-up code (16 digits).
・The pick-up code (16 digits) will be required for picking up tickets at JR Central or JR West ticket booths. It cannot be picked up by the credit card you used for the reservation. Please have your pick-up code ready in advance.
■ Other important matters
・The credit card you used for the reservation will be required for getting a refund after picking up your tickets.
・Part of the Membership Agreement and the Privacy Policy will be revised on March 2020 due to the change in the ticket pick up process (Details of the revision will be announced later).

・The credit card you used when you made the reservation and the password you use to login to this Service (4~8 alphanumeric characters and symbols).
【After the change】After March 21, 2020
・The pick-up code and the password you use to login to this Service (4~8 alphanumeric characters and symbols).
・As a transitional measure, tickets can also be picked up by the credit card registered by March 20, 2020 until end of June 2020.
【Note】
・A one-time password, which is emailed to your registered email address is required to issue the pick-up code. If you have already registered a membership, please check your registered email address by March 20, 2020.
*You will not be able to see or change Membership info, such as email address if you are using a different device from the one you registered for the membership. Please use the device that you used to register or re-register by the device that you are using now.
・If you have changed your credit card information or re-registered after March 21, you cannnot pick up your tickets by your credit card (can be picked up by the pick-up code).
