Regarding registration of the credit card holder's name (in Roman letters)
Starting Saturday, September 27, 2025, registration of the credit card face's name (in Romanized characters) will be required during “Tokaido Sanyo Kyushu Shinkansen Online Reservation Service” payments. This is to enable credit card companies to verify the cardface's information.
● After Saturday, September 27, 2025, you can register the cardface name (in Roman characters) from the “Credit Card”((For the app version “Credit Card Information”) menu under “Change Membership Information” (For the app version”Membership Info”) after logging into “Tokaido Sanyo Kyushu Shinkansen Online Reservation Service”.
Please have your credit card ready and register the cardface name (in Roman characters).
● If you have not registered the cardface's name (in Roman characters) by May 24, 2026, you will be unable to use “Tokaido Sanyo Kyushu Shinkansen Online Reservation Service” services for new reservations or changes until registration is completed.
*You will not be able to make reservations or changes after May 25, 2026. Please re-register the credit card from “Change / Cancel Membership Info” in the menu.
*The schedule may be postponed due to circumstances. In the event of a postponement, details will be announced on the “Tokaido Sanyo Kyushu Shinkansen Online Reservation Service” website.
