Change to the reservation start date and reservation method, etc. for “S Work Seat” / “S Work P Seat" on EX Service
Effective from travel on Wednesday, May 22, the reservation start date for "S Work Seat" / "S Work P Seat" will be changed to starting at 10:00 am one month prior to the boarding date (*). Please note that how you make reservations will also change as follows. (The attached document provides information with pictures.)
*Currently, the reservation start date is 28 days prior to the boarding date.

[When making a reservation for a boarding date that is on or after Wednesday, May 22 (★)]
*The reservation can be made one month prior to the boarding date (April 22).
Please tap "Shinkansen Tickets," select "S Work Seat" / "S Work P Seat" from [Seat Types] on the "By time"screen, then proceed to "Select Train."
Please tap "Search Train," select "S Work Seat" / "S Work P Seat" from [Seat Types] on the "Reservation" screen, then proceed to "select train / Facilities."
*Please note that if you do not select "S Work Seat" / "S Work P Seat" from [Seat Types], your reservation is regarded as a reservation for a general seat.
[When making a reservation for a boarding date that is before Tuesday, May 21 (◇)]
*As before, the reservation can be made 28 days before the boarding date.
*As before, please select "S Work Seat" / "S Work P Seat" on the “Select train” screen.
*If you make a reservation on or after Monday, April 22 for a boarding date before Tuesday, May 21, you cannot make the reservation by selecting "S Work Seat" / "S Work P Seat" from the [Seat Types] pulldown menu. Please make a selection from the "Select Train" screen.

From Wednesday, May 22, reservations for "S Work Seat" / "S Work P Seat" will also be available with “Hayatoku Fares” and round-trip discount products. Reservations for multiple passengers (including children) will also be available. "S Work Seat" / "S Work P Seat" are cars for passengers who want to use their mobile devices without restrictions for work purposes. In order to maintain a comfortable workplace environment, please refrain from chatting with other passengers and rotating your seat. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
