You can choose from various fares offered,
depending on the way you would like to travel by Shinkansen,
including your days of travel and the size of your party.

Basic Fares
The smartEX basic service lets you make a reservation up to your date of travel and can be used with all Tokaido Sanyo Kyushu Shinkansen sections.
This round-trip discount fare lets you make a reservation up to your date of travel and is particularly suited for using sections with one-way operating distances of 601 km or more.
"Hayatoku" Fares with further discount for Early Reservations

This is the product to use Non-Reserved Seats of "Nozomi", "Hikari" and "Kodama" trains by making a reservation by the day before the boarding date (23:30).

The "Hayatoku 3" ticket can be used when you make a reservation at least 3 days before your date of travel.
It is an emotional option for Green Cars (First Class Cars)(Reserved seats in Ordinary Car are including some sections.). -
The "Hayatoku 7" ticket can be used when you make a reservation at least 7 days before your date of travel.
It is an emotional option for using reserved-seat Ordinary Cars. -
When making a reservation at least 21 days in advance, all-day "Nozomi" Shinkansen trains become cheaper to use. Recommended for vacations, weddings, and other events planned far in advance!

The "Hayatoku-28 Wide" ticket can be used when you make a reservation at least 28 days (4 weeks) before your date of travel. Recommended for plans made far in advance, like vacations or wedding.
