Q.Can I make a reservation for a train in delay?
If your reservation is with the boarding station on Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen section, a process as follow can be made. If you search for a train by the departure time of up to 60 minutes from the current time, or by the train name, you can make a reservation or change your reservation for a delayed train even after 4 minutes before the predetermined departure time .
In this case, expected depature time of a train is displayed in yellow letters, and you can make a reservation or change your reservation up to 5 minutes before the displayed time.
*If you can make a refund without refund charges, you can make a reservation or change your reservation until the train actually departs. (*) If refunds without any chages can be made, a notification will be posted at the top of the screen after login.
(*) If your reservation is with the boarding station on Kyushu Shinkansen section, you can make a process of reservation, change or refund within the boarding date.
