Q.How do I transit trains, from conventional line to Shinkansen or Shinkansen to conventional line?
■ Members using "tickets"
○ From conventional line to Shinkansen
Pick up your reserved tickets from the ticket vending machine or ticket counters of Shinkansen boarding station.
- Members using the conventional line tickets to Shinkansen boarding station
Insert the conventional line ticket and your reserved "tickets" together into the Shinkansen transfer entrance.
- Members using the IC card to Shinkansen boarding station
Insert your reserved "tickets" into the Shinkansen transfer entrance, then touch your IC card.
○ From Shinkansen to conventional line
When transferring to conventional line, you will need a conventional line ticket or IC card.
* Shinkansen transfer exit cannot be used if you only have your reserved "ticket".
- Members using tickets for the conventional line
Insert the conventional line ticket and your reserved "tickets" together into the Shinkansen transfer exit.
- Members using the IC card for the conventional line
Insert your reserved "tickets" into the Shinkansen transfer exit, then touch your IC card.
■ Members using IC card
If using registered IC card for this service to board the conventional line, you can use the Shinkansen transfer entrance/exit with only your registered IC card.
* Note the fare for the conventional line will be needed. If you do not have required IC card balance, you cannot use the Shinkansen transfer entrance/exit.
■ Members using QR-Ticket
If using ticket to use conventional line, first, please insert your ticket to Shinkansen transfer entrance/exit and scan QR-Ticket afterward.
If using IC card to use conventional line, first, plese scan QR-Ticket to Shinaknsen transfer entrance/exit and touch IC card afterward.
