KODAMA Series 700
- All carriages non-smoking. You are unable to smoke on this train.
- Seats in cars 4 to 8 are in two rows of two seats.
- You are unable to use the four-person compartments in car 8.
- Depending on the train, seats in car 4 may be unreserved, or seating in the whole train may be unreserved. For details please check the large timetable board.
KODAMA Series 500
- All seats non-smoking.
- Smoking rooms are available in cars 3 and 7 (towards Hakata).
- Seats in cars 4 to 6 are in two rows of two seats.
- There is no entrance or exit at the front of car 1, or the rear of car 8.
- Depending on the train, seats in car 4 may be unreserved, or seating in the whole train may be unreserved. For details please check the large timetable board.
