Save on Green Car of "Nozomi", "Hikari", "Kodama", "Mizuho", "Sakura", and "Tsubame" by making a reservation up to 3 days (23:30) before the boarding date!

  • This product is exclusively for the Tokaido, Sanyo, and Kyushu Shinkansen lines.
  • This product combines a ticket and a limited express.
  • There is a limit to the number of trains on sale.

Period of use

Throughout the year

This service is not available during busy periods (Golden Week, Obon, and the New Year's holiday) due to exclusion days.

Launch period

From 1 month before (10:00) to 3 days before (23:30)

  • The number of seats available is limited for each train. As a result, you may not be able to make a reservation even if you have a vacant seat on the desired train.

  • This service is available only in some sections.

Target trains and facilities

When using the Tokaido Shinkansen (Tokyo - Shin-Osaka) section

Green Car of "Nozomi", "Hikari", and "Kodama" that runs directly from the boarding station to the alighting station.

  • You can't make a transit.

When using the Tokaido, Sanyo Shinkansen (Tokyo - Hakata) section or the Sanyo Shinkansen (Shin-Osaka - Hakata) section

Green Car of "Nozomi" that runs directly from the boarding station to the alighting station.

  • You can't make a transit.

When using the Sanyo, Kyushu Shinkansen (Shin-Osaka - Kagoshima-Chuo) section

(Without transit)

Green Car of "Mizuho" and "Sakura" that runs directly from the boarding station to the alighting station.

(For transit) * The transit station is limited to Hakata Station.

Sanyo Shinkansen section: "Nozomi" Green Cars

Kyushu Shinkansen section: Green Cars of "Mizuho", "Sakura" and "Tsubame" (only "Tsubame" can use free seats for Ordinary Cars.)

When using the Kyushu Shinkansen (Hakata - Kagoshima-Chuo) section

Reserved seats of "Mizuho", "Sakura", and "Tsubame" standard carriages and green carriages that run directly from the boarding station to the alighting station

Reservation change

  • If the new riding date is more than 3 days ahead of the reservation change, you can change to "EX Hayatoku 3". However, only when the conditions for setting this product are met and seats remain. It is also possible to change to other products that can be purchased at the time of the change, but the difference is necessary.
  • If the riding date after the change is within 3 months from the date of the initial purchase, it can be changed any number of times to other products that can be purchased at the time of the change (the difference is necessary).
  • The change to "EX Hayatoku 3" is limited to the case where the riding date after the change is 3 days or more ahead of the time when the reservation is changed, and when the product setting conditions are met and seats remain.
  • However, when "products, riding days, riding sections, facilities, and numbers of persons" are the same, only on the day of riding can the train be changed in the same amount (the name change is limited to between "Sakura" and "Tsubame" and each other).
  • If the number of reservations is reduced, a refund fee (320 Yen per person) will be charged.

Other

  • Cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts.
  • You cannot get off halfway. If you get off at a train station in the middle of the way, the section that you did not ride will be voided and you will not be able to ride again.
  • This product combines a ticket and a limited express. If you use a conventional line from a Shinkansen train station or from an off-train station, you will need to pay a separate fare for the conventional line.
  • Only valid for booking trains. (It cannot be changed to other facilities in the same train. Other trains can not ride, including free seats.)

Refund

You can make a refund by yourself before entering the ticket gate or before receiving your ticket.

Pay-back fee

Before the departure time of the reservation train 320 Yen
After the departure time of the reservation train You cannot operate the refund yourself. Refunds will be made on or after the day following the boarding date, upon receipt of the amount specified below (refund fee).

If you have already received the ticket, you cannot refund it by yourself. Please bring the ticket and your credit card for EX Service payment to any major JR Tokai, JR West, or JR Kyushu station by the day of boarding to complete the refund procedure. In this case, the redemption fee is the same as the member's own redemption.

  • If the Shinkansen is more than 2 hours behind the scheduled arrival time, pay back the "specified amount" for each use section.
