On or after Friday, March 13, 2026, the valid travel section will be expanded.

  • It will be available to purchase from 5:30 on Friday, February 20, 2026.
    (This ticket can be purchased until 23:30, 21 days before the boarding date.)

Features

Reserve up to 21 days before your travel date (by 23:30) for discounted reserved seats on regular "Nozomi", "Mizuho", "Sakura", and "Tsubame" trains!

  • The "Mizuho", "Sakura", and "Tsubame" services apply to tickets for boarding from Friday, March 13, 2026 (Sales begin Friday, February 20, 2026)
  • This product is exclusively for the Tokaido, Sanyo, and Kyushu Shinkansen.
  • This product combines a basic fare ticket and a limited express ticket.
  • The number of seats available is limited for each train.
  • Cannot be changed after reservation. If you wish to make a change, you will need to make a reservation again after refund.

Period of use

Throughout the year

This service is not available during busy periods (Golden Week, Obon, the New Year's holiday, etc.) due to exclusion days.

Launch period

From 1 month before (10:00) to 21 days before (23:30)

  • The number of seats available is limited for each train. As a result, you may not be able to make a reservation even if you have a vacant seat on the desired train.

When using the Tokaido, Sanyo Shinkansen (Tokyo - Hakata) section

Reserved seat in a ordinary car of "Nozomi" which runs directly from the boarding station to the alighting station.

  • You can't make a transit.

When using the Sanyo Shinkansen or Kyushu Shinkansen (Shin-Osaka - Kagoshima-Chuo) section

(Without transit)

Reserved seat in ordinary car of "Mizuho" or "Sakura" train that runs directly from the boarding station to the alighting station.

  • You can't make a transit.

*The transit station is limited to Hakata Station.

Sanyo Shinkansen section: Reserved seat in ordinary car of "Nozomi", "Mizuho", or "Sakura" trains.

Kyushu Shinkansen section: Reserved seat in ordinary car of "Mizuho", "Sakura", and "Tsubame" (Non-reserved seat of "Tsubame" is also available)

Number of passengers

1 to 6 persons

  • There are also settings for children.

Reservation change

After booking, you can't make any changes, including changing the train (but you can change the seat position for the same facility in the same train and the same price).

  • If the number of reservations is reduced, a refund fee (320 Yen per person) will be charged.

Other

  • Cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts.
  • You cannot get off halfway. If you get off at a train station in the middle of the way, the section that you did not ride will be voided and you will not be able to ride again.
  • This product combines a basic fare ticket and a limited express ticket. If you use a conventional line from or to a Shinkansen station, you will need to pay a separate fare for the conventional line.
  • Only valid for booking trains. (It cannot be changed to other facilities in the same train. You cannot board other train, including non-reseved seat.)

Refund

You can make a refund by yourself before entering the ticket gate or before receiving your ticket.

Pay-back fee

Before the departure time of the reservation train 320 Yen
After the departure time of the reservation train You cannot operate the refund yourself. Refunds will be made on or after the day following the boarding date, upon receipt of the amount specified below (refund fee).

If you have already received the ticket, you cannot refund it by yourself. Please bring the ticket and your credit card for EX Service payment to any major JR Tokai, JR West, or JR Kyushu station by the day of boarding to complete the refund procedure. In this case, the redemption fee is the same as the member's own redemption.
