The change in Ticketless boarding service and personal authentication service (3D Secure) when registering and changing credit card information

○You’ll be able to add QR-Ticket to your Apple Wallet!
From Saturday, August 21, you’ll be able to add QR-Ticket to your Apple Wallet. (only for iOS user)
Previously, if you have downloaded App such as Mobile Suica to your smartphone (iOS), you may be needed to print out your QR-Ticket beforehand. By adding QR-Ticket to Apple Wallet, you can use QR-Ticket displayed on your Apple Wallet to board the train.

○About personal authentication service (3D Secure) when registering and changing credit card information
To support our members’ secure online card payment, Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen Internet Reservation Service implements a personal authentication service (3D Secure) recommended by international credit card brands.
If your credit card is not registered for nor available for 3D Secure, you might not be able to register (including re-register*) for Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen Internet Reservation Service.

When you change your membership information or issue pick up code, the one-time password will be sent to your registered email address. If your e-mail address has been invalid by some reasons, and you are not able to receive e-mail, you are required to re-register. To avoid the need to re-register, we recommend you to register multiple e-mail addresses.
To use 3D Secure, you may be required to register for the service and set your password at the credit card issuer in advance.
*The password of personal authentication service is different from the password to login to Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen Internet reservation service, PIN code or Security code of your credit card. If you have any questions about 3D Secure, such as how to set it up, check the setting status, or if you have forgotten your password, please contact your credit card issuer listed on the back of your card.
