Introducing “Supreme Class” on the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen
Starting in October 2026, a new premium seating class, “Supreme Class,” will be introduced on the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen. It will offer a higher level of comfort, amenities, and services than those available in Green Car.
To better meet the increasingly diverse needs of our customers amid evolving lifestyles and ways of working, we will provide a refined travel environment suitable for a wide range of purposes and occasions.
Service begins on October 1, 2026.
Reservations open on September 15, 2026, at 5:30 a.m.
Available through Tokaido Sanyo Kyushu Shinkansen Online Reservation Service.
Please note that the One-Year Advance Reservation service is not available for Supreme Class.
